Beginners Muay Thai

Beginner Muay Thai KickboxingLevel 1 Muay Thai (Beginner-Friendly) is the perfect way to get started in the art of eight limbs while building a strong foundation in striking. This high-energy workout boosts endurance, burns fat, tones muscle, and teaches fundamental Muay Thai techniques.

Designed for all fitness levels, our 60-minute sessions blend authentic striking, blocking, and self-defense skills with an engaging workout that helps you push your limits. On average, you can expect to burn 600–800 calories per class while learning techniques that improve fitness, confidence, and practical real-world self-defense.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up: Every class begins with 10 minutes of dynamic exercises and calisthenics to raise your heart rate and prepare your body for training.
  • Partner Drills: Pair up to practice striking combinations on Thai pads and gloves. These 5-round drills sharpen technique, build confidence, and improve timing and coordination.
  • Technical Drills: With shin guards on, you’ll work with a partner to drill core Muay Thai techniques, reinforcing proper form, movement, and self-defense applications.
  • Power Finish: Class ends with heavy bag work—3-minute rounds of high-intensity striking that deliver a full-body workout. Expect to sweat—bring an extra shirt!

TRAINING GEAR

Students are required to have –
  • Hand wraps.
  • 14 or 16oz boxing gloves.
  • Shin guards w/foot guard.
  • Mouth guard.
  • We recommend males wear an athletic cup.
  • We recommend females wear a padded sport bra.
