Kids and Youth Kickboxing/Muay Thai Instructor

Kids (ages 6-9) & Youth (ages 10-14) Kickboxing/Muay Thai coach needed to teach two separate 45-minute classes on Tuesday & Thursday from 5:45-6:30pm and 6:30pm-7:15pm. And on Saturday from 9:00am-9:45am.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kickboxing/Muay Thai instructor to teach kids and youth essential self-defense skills and to prepare them for competition in Kickboxing and Muay Thai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents, possess strong communication skills, and be able to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Instruct Kids (ages 6-9) and Youth (ages 10-14) in Kickboxing and Muay Thai techniques.
Develop and implement structured training programs tailored to each age group.
Teach self-defense skills and prepare students for competition.
Foster a safe, supportive, and motivating atmosphere in all classes.
Ensure that all students follow proper safety protocols during training and sparring sessions.
Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills.
Organize and supervise sparring sessions during the mixed Kids & Youth class on Saturdays.
Maintain class discipline and manage behavior issues effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience teaching Kickboxing and/or Muay Thai, preferably with kids and youth.
Strong knowledge of self-defense techniques and competitive training.
Ability to engage and motivate students of different age groups and skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
6+ years of experience in Kickboxing/Muay Thai instruction is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Background check is required.
