CARDIO KICKBOXING

Cardio Kickboxing (also known as Level 1 Kickboxing or Fitness Kickboxing) is the perfect way to kick-start your fitness goals.  This exhilarating aerobic workout boosts endurance, burns fat, tones muscle, and teaches fundamental self-defense skills.  Suitable for all fitness levels, our high-energy class lets you push your limits while learning authentic striking techniques.

During a typical 60-minute session, you can expect to burn between 600-800 calories.  Plus, you’ll gain real Muay Thai and Kickboxing striking and blocking techniques that are not only great for fitness but also practical in real-world self-defense situations.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up: Every class begins with 10-minutes of aerobic exercises and calisthenics to get your heart rate up and muscles ready.
  • Partner Drills: You’ll team up with a partner to practice striking combinations using Thai pads and gloves. These 5-round drills help refine your technique and build confidence.
  • Power Cardio Finish: The session ends with intense heavy bag work during 3-minute rounds. This power cardio finale delivers a full-body workout and leaves you feeling accomplished. Be prepared to sweat—bring an extra shirt!

TRAINING GEAR

Students are required to have hand wraps and 12oz or 14oz boxing gloves.  We’ll supply the rest.
