CARDIO KICKBOXING

Cardio Kickboxing (also known as Level 1) is the perfect way to kick-start your fitness goals.  This exhilarating aerobic workout boosts endurance, burns fat, tones muscle, and teaches fundamental self-defense skills.  Suitable for all fitness levels, our high-energy class lets you push your limits while learning authentic striking techniques. During a typical 60-minute session, you can expect to burn between 600-800 calories.  Plus, you’ll gain real Muay Thai and Kickboxing striking and blocking techniques that are not only great for fitness but also practical in real-world self-defense situations.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-Up: Each class kicks off with 10 minutes of aerobic exercises and calisthenics to elevate your heart rate and prep your muscles for action.
  • Partner Drills: You’ll pair up to practice striking combinations using Thai pads and gloves. These 5-round drills sharpen your technique, boost confidence, and improve coordination.
  • Technical Drills: After gearing up with shin guards, you’ll work with your partner to drill fundamental Muay Thai techniques, reinforcing proper form and movement.
  • Power Cardio Finish: The session wraps up with intense heavy bag rounds, pushing through 3-minute intervals of high-energy strikes for a full-body workout. Expect to sweat—bring an extra shirt!

TRAINING GEAR

Students are required to have – 

  • Hand wraps.
  • 14 or 16oz boxing gloves.
  • Shin guards w/foot guard.
  • Mouth guard.
  • We recommend males wear an athletic cup.
  • We recommend females wear a padded sport bra.
