Cole Fister started Kickboxing at Apex Martial Arts under coach Don Rodger in 2019. He quickly excelled and made the fight Team in less than a year. He’s competed in 4 International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) semi-contact events and took first place in his division for each. He’s currently competing as an amateur kickboxer and holds a record of 3-2, with his last win at Lightning Strikes XI in Feb 2023. Cole is also our fight team captain, always bringing positive vibes to training.
Cole’s passion for Kickboxing & Muay Thai led him to become an IKF PKB Judge for semi-contact events, and he is now training to become a full-contact judge.
In 2023, Cole was promoted to Level 2 Kickboxing coach, where he now runs a Level 2 class, and he is an assistant coach for Level 3 & 4 classes.
When Cole’s not coaching or training for a fight, he plays competitive soccer. He earned his associate degree in HVAC and currently works at Duke University Medical Center.
