CoronaVirus & Classes

\"\"In light of the growing public-health concern about the CoronaVirus, and in an effort to prioritize our members health and wellness, we ask that any member who feels sick to please refrain from coming to the gym until you are sure all of your symptoms are completely gone.

If you’ve recently traveled to or from another country, please do not come to class for at least two weeks, or until you’ve been tested for the virus, and deemed healthy by a healthcare professional.

Despite the mixed messages coming from various sources, the CoronaVirus is a very real threat. It can live on certain surfaces at room temperature for several days.  It’s extremely contagious and can be contracted just by being within six (6) feet of someone who is infected.  Because the symptoms are like those of a common cold, it is very difficult to know if you have contracted the virus, or if you simply have a common cold.  If you feel sick, please consult a healthcare professional before coming to the gym.

CLASS SCHEDULE

We thoroughly clean the gym floors and gear after every day of class with a mixture of Bleach and Pinesol.  We also use Clorox Bleach wipes to wipe down all equipment, and we use Lysol spray to sanitize all of the Kickboxing gear after each class.  As an added precaution, we will spend this weekend thoroughly sanitizing the entire gym to keep things as clean and safe as possible.  We appreciate every member making sure your clothes, gi\’s and other personal equipment is clean before coming to class.

For the short term, we are restricting gym access to gym members only.  Our open mat will be closed to non-members for the time being.  Only those with active Apex Martial Arts Center/Open Guard BJJ memberships may attend class and open mat.

If we all do our part to make things as safe and clean as possible, we can help stop the spread of this disease.

For more information about the CoronaVirus, please visit the CDC website at – https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/index.html…

The cooperation of every member is paramount. Please help us keep our teammates healthy.

Thank you for being part of the Apex Martial Arts Center/Open Guard BJJ Family.
