Hello Team. As you may have heard, COVID-19 cases are on the rise in North Carolina and in several other States. With good reason, Governor Roy Cooper has again delayed the re-opening of gyms. Therefore, we are postponing our July 1st re-opening.
We continue to attend online town halls to listen to the Governor\’s message. He has stated his concern that people may continue to disregard CDC guidelines (social distancing, wearing masks etc.), and with the July 4th weekend coming soon, he feels it is prudent to delay the Phase 3 re-opening announcement until July 15th.
Wayne and I continue to consult with subject matter experts to determine the best time, and most effective way, to re-open. Though these delays have gotten very costly for us, we will continue to push forward, and put our members health and safety above all else. When we do re-open, we are implementing Safety Guidelines that every member must adhere to for the well-being of all members.
